Established in 2023, its engineering departments have since emerged as an exemplary model for the dedicated and innovative Iraqi engineer, who plays a pivotal role in the development of institutions and the service of the nation.

The College of Engineering and Technologies has distinguished itself through the density of its scientific publications in global repositories at the level of scientific colleges within the university. It achieved the first rank in the Iraqi national ranking issued by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Agency for the years 2020 and 2021, and its engineering departments attained the following preeminent ranks: the Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technologies, the Department of Computer Techniques Engineering as the first governmental and private, the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries as the first private, and the Department of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Techniques Engineering as the third governmental and private.
