The Biomedical Engineering Department organized a distinguished workshop for first-year students, presented by Dr. Alaa Mohammed Hussein. The workshop focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the importance of raising awareness among students. It aimed to introduce students to the concept of sustainable development and emphasize its application in their daily lives.

During the workshop, the seventeen SDGs were reviewed, highlighting how each goal impacts society and the environment. The program also included interactive activities and group discussions, providing students with the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. Several videos were presented to introduce the concept of sustainability goals.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the workshop, emphasizing the need to integrate these goals into academic curricula and enhance the role of youth in achieving sustainable development.
