Fuel and Energy Techniques Eng Department

The Department of Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering at Al Mustaqbal University established the university on 11/1/2023. The department will contribute to providing Iraq with engineering competencies in the field of fuel and energy technology engineering. The department seeks with all its capabilities and the efforts of its professors and employees to meet the needs of the national industry for engineering crews working in various industry fields, including the oil, petrochemical, construction, food and pharmaceutical industries. The department continues to keep pace with scientific development and openness towards the edges of science through specializations in preliminary study.
The Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering Department accept the following inputs:
Students graduating from preparatory school in the scientific stream (biology - applied) and industry (mechanics - air conditioning and refrigeration - oil refining and gas processing - petrochemical industries) are accepted with a grade of not less than 70% and a tuition fee of 2,500,000 per year.
The duration of study is four years and the language of study is English, after which the graduate is awarded a bachelor’s degree in fuel and energy technology engineering. A graduate of chemical engineering can work in oil refineries and petrochemical complexes, as it is considered one of the basic applications of his specialty.
The Fuel and Energy Technology Engineering specialization is one of the modern specializations that was developed based on the requirements of the labor market in the field of green fuel and energy, as the energy engineer can work in the following
fields:
The Ministry of Electricity.
The Ministry of Oil and all its formations.
Investment companies and the private sector.
University laboratories and study and research centers.
Graduating competent and skilled engineers in the specializations of fuel and energy technology engineering in line with the requirements of national development to serve the community. The department seeks to achieve the scientific specificity of the department by enriching the students studying there with scientific and applied capabilities and experiences that extend to the nature of the university of the future.
Providing distinguished education. Preparing engineers in the specialty of fuel and energy technology engineering to serve the chemical industry, electrical power production units, and others related to energy and fuel production, as well as related to types of renewable energies in government and private sectors, in accordance with the latest methods and modern technology, and working to conduct applied research and studies and solve industrial problems that serve the scientific and economic side of the field.
