The specialization of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering is considered one of the important and rare disciplines, where medical and engineering expertise intersect. It is among the modern sciences that have witnessed rapid development in recent years. Since its establishment in the academic year 2023-2024, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University has been keen on keeping pace with the country's needs, especially in the city of Babylon, which has seen the opening of centers for prosthetic rehabilitation, hospitals, and health centers. This is achieved by providing resources and personnel with expertise and knowledge in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering.
